And why is that so hard to believe? There was only ONE week (week ending April 4, 1964, Billboard) where the Beatles held down all Top 5 positions, ultimately being "beat out by quirky novelty hits" at other times. Consider all the weeks that have passed since, and before. Unless the Top 500 is supposed to reflect that week alone, I see no reason that they shouldn't be able to be "beat out" like any other song.
