I think that is the perfect post for the closing of this board ! Obviously we can't put down the actual person ( I forgot the name ) whos voice it is as he was only employed to read those scripts. I feel we can in all fairness point the finger at the character " Jack-Fm " and I agree the Jack-FM voice now eminating from a dog on a beans spot is a great place for everyone to hear it. I can't remember when I ever heard a radio station throw out insults to the Mayor of New York and a New York State Senator, repeatedly in a radio spot like Jack-FM did. Well it proved out in the end, you don't get listeners and sponsors with irresponsible radio spots like that.
I said it at the beginning of this whole Jack-FM iPod on shuffle thing, sooner or later the battery in the Jack-Pod would run out and I guess with the closing of this board that will really be the end of this whole jack-FM thing here in New York. For 2 years Jack-FM played what " he " wanted, although it didn't mean that we had to listen to it and many of us didn't.
WCBS-FM Greatest Hits 101.1 New York plays what " I " want to hear and I am sure that goes for thousands of others as well.
