Fwiw, as the National Anthem is being cued for this board, there has been some indirect product/consumer linkage up this way, too, in NE PA. We talked the local supermarket into stocking Bush's chopped collard greens two weeks ago. You can eat them cold right from the can.
Collard greens are loaded. We've since switched from spinach. Second childhood. We even bought bikes in the interim. And we're over 50.
Yeah, the switch wasn't a response to a radio ad or a print ad. But this drastic change in lifestyle did parallel the crystallized philosophies of this board and this station, and I think that has some marketing-quotient value.
You folks are aces! If rock and roll rebels can't be young, there's nothing saying you can't act it and watch other generations be horrified just the way they were when everyone here was a teen. The comeraderie here has been awesome .... and thank you, Allan Sniffen.
