will end up being the closing thread, but ANYWAY:
As a listener to BOTH the ORIGINAL CBSFM as well as the NEW and REVISED CBSFM, I couldn't let the upcoming closing of the Board just "Float On". I am SO grateful that Dr. Sniffen (I remember talking to you as Dr. John Barron years ago on K104, but anyhow....) provided this "forum", as it were, for mutual listener camaraderie and support as this FABULOUS station re-emerged from TWO years of "Jack-Dom". As it originally started, it was great - hearing WHO was gonna be on and the modifications that were being made to return the station to its LEGENDARY status. The positive comments made by many of our posters was a joy to me to read, and having some of CBSFM's current greats and legends (Bob Shannon and Bobby Jay) as well as staffers (Ziggie and Dan H.) update us as to the status of said changes made it even better. I believe Dr. Sniffen's decision to close down this Board was a wise and timely one - the Board had SO FAR drifted away from its initial focus.
To all of you who posted, I say thank you - for the MOST part, it was TERRIFIC to read your posts; as I indicated at the beginning, they were ALWAYS entertaining to read. I just ask that you continue to support CBSFM as it continues to re-emerge from "Jack-Dom" and to support our personalities, our legends - not just the ones that are currently on, but the ones we currently hope for at some future point. And to look forward to the Sunday NY Radio Legends (last two have been REALLY TERRIFIC!)
