New Orleans community station WWOZ which broadcasts (and streams) only music continues to do so today. Bill Berry opened his New Orleans music show at noon with the National Anthem and went on to play only roots music including brass bands and an hour of "Pops" Louis Armstrong. Commented that having lost his dad years ago he sought the comfort of "Pops".

They're the only station in New Orleans which has continued to play music. Breaking in to announce blood donation sites, etc.

Now playing acoustic blues & gospel including music from Oh Brother Where Art Thou.

A sad day. Life goes on...
