I'll second that. Allan, I couldn't have said it better myself. In my workplace, there's no TV, but we heard the news on a radio there--WCBS' coverage, in fact, which the network was sending out.
CBS' Christopher Glenn began the 11 AM (CT) newscast with the words, "The nightmare is here." One wishes fervently this was, indeed, just a bad dream from which one will awaken, but it's all too real. My condolences from Springfield, Ill.
