Bryce, your kind words seem typical of the amazing caring and concern shown by your fellow Britains today. For the last 2 years I've been working as a live culture/news correspondent for X-CEL FM in the UK (as well as doing a weekly pre-recorded music show.) Although initially I was not able to get through, the station called me to see if I was personally OK and sent wishes form their listeners. It was totally above and beyond. Later I was able to give an eyewitness phone report (actually watched WTC collapses from my apartment window), and for UK listeners who are aware of Howard Stern as a 'shock jock,' also noted the excellent effort of Stern and company to give us co-ordinated reports from radio stations around the US. In such a horrific national calamity, it is greatly appreciated to know immediately that we have overseas allies.
