As usual, a great speech. This truly is a sad day in American history. And for me it was special because I live blocks from the WTC. I just stayed home all day while watching all the local stations and listening to WINS and watching the towers on fire and them seeing them collapse in front of my eyes. Just completely shocking. West Street, the main thoroughfare looked like a disaster movie, with police, fire and other vehicles in soot surrounded by rubble. Again, just shocking.
