This is a national tragedy. Some thoughts came to mind regarding the post below about radio disney "taking the place" of a parent. Even if Disney did broadcast something regarding the events of the day, I wouldn't feel they are trying to take your place. Kids will obviously hear alot about the horror of today. I'm sure your children would listen to you first as a parent, and possibly discuss any points of view heard elsewhere (what point of view could possibly be expressed that kids should be shielded from anyway?). Every parent should sit down with any children they have who are old enough to comprehend real tragedy and talk about the value and miracle of life. Light a candle. Say a prayer. Reflect on life. Thank God you are still here. Condolences to anyone affected by today's nightmare events.
