Just wanted to express my deepest sympathy on behalf of The City Of Liverpool to the people who lost loved ones, colleauges and acquaintances in over recent years, kind of an unnofical the devastation. And to all those New Yorkers, Americans and visitors who must be shocked, stunned and scared.
Liverpool and New York have been closely linked "twinning." There has been talk of this becoming official in the near future.
Everyone in Liverpool is shocked and stunned. New York and it's people are in our thoughts during this terrible time.
