I just wanted to express the deep grief, mourning and sympathy everybody here in Germany feels for you all. Everybody is deeply shocked and horrified. The place in front of the American embassy in Berlin is a sea of flowers, flags are at half-mast everywhere, you see far more American flags than before. We're all with you.

German radio is doing a good job these days. Everybody cancelled games, comedies, promos etc. and switched to calm music. Even the music stations provided their listeners with detailled news at lest twice an hour. TV was incredible this week - there wasn't one major station that did not broadcast a 24-hour-coverage of the tragedy. This has never been before.
