It's real easy in hindsight to be critical of some of Mr. McCoy's decisions (or lack of decisions). But it was a long run, and one with generally solid ratings. Most of us in other professions would be delighted to have had as much success as he did in programming the station.
Maybe he got a bit complacent or maybe he found himself without enough power to make the decisions that needed to be made. Whatever it was, Vince's chronology shows the highlights of Joe's tenure at CBS, and it's quite a record.
