I have seen dozens of posts on this board from folks who have lived all over the country and almost without exception they indicate WCBSFM was the best oldies station they had ever heard. You need to address that fact. Who in your opinion was programming an oldies station anywhere in the USA that was better. My travels in life have been limited to the East Coast and I have to tell you I have never heard an oldies station that was even close to WCBSFM.
I give you credit with admitting you have had issues with Joe McCoy.
