This is what I've been arguing from day one.
CBS-FM is too entrenched with it's image of sock-hops and bobby socks (and, slightly older flower power, British invasion era music), that attempts to "young it up" are doomed. Instead, let it ride out the next 10-15 years as is (was) and then let it go.
And train, train, train the sales staff to sell the older demo's. It's tough as heck, I know, but not impossible.
In my humble opinion.
