That's doesn't contradict my argument. In my view *any* competent PD would have accomplished that with this format in this market over this period of time.
I have yet to see anyone give me something that CBS-FM did that any other PD would not have thought of. Hiring well known DJ's and playing music that was popular on WINS/WABC/WMCA was the obvious thing to do. What else did the station do that had any real signficance?
