**This is not a music argument. It's a target demo argument**
How can you separate the two? Isn't the idea that the right music will steal some of that target demo away? Perhaps not just from other radio stations, but also bring that target demo BACK to radio? Isn't that the premise of 'programming?' WBAB on Long Island is Jack with DJs. This morning you got to hear VanHalen, Black Sabbath, Billy Joel, Zeppelin, The Stones, Boston, Kansas, Kiss and BTO. This afternoon you'll hear the same, and tonite, and tomorrow... Put a bullet in my head! This is why I am a Sirius subscriber.
Today I heard the music on RXP that I went to Sirius for, and by the way, so far the music is even more diverse and exciting than anything I could get on a Sirius programmed station. I do not WANT to pay extra to hear this stuff. Trying to be objective and a fan of the music, I think that this is a great idea
