I agree. There is a lot of criticism on this board that local radio has a lack of variety and can be boring. But every time a station changes or contemplates changing format, the suggestion is that it become another CHR or AC. We can't have country, or any new rock stations- only AC or CHR.
Let's at least give WRXP a chance to get a staff in place. Hopefully they won't wait to do this as long as K-Rock did. They will possibly also tweak the music in the coming months.
There has been a lot of criticism of Fresh 102.7 on this board- by people who are not in the group it is aimed at. But it is doing a good job of reaching its desired female demo. This could possibly be a similar situation.
