We certainly know the numbers are decreasing (among young people) but is there research pertaining to the ones who do listen? Why is a 22 year old female (which seems to be a large part of Now's targeted demo) listening? Does the radio suplement her Ipod listening? Is it strictly car and office listening? Are people who listen to hit based,, rather than genre based formats less likely to download music? Do you think today's young people would be less likely to use the web and Ipods for music listening once these people have families(of course, that assumes that technology won't evolve in the next ten years)?
