No I'm not. And to that I will address this question.
Explain "Cascada".
Cascada is one of VERY FEW artists that are of the dance brand, yet has CHR airplay. Her new track "Evacuate The Dancefloor" is picking up on the charts. What I have suggested isn't anything radical here. And if I do recall, there was a time, not so long ago, where Top 40/CHR radio DID play dance as part of the format. Z-100 did it! 'PLJ did it along with music of other genres that composed of the CHR format. I'm not suggesting something radical in house or trance music here. What I did suggest on other posts WERE dance hits that could easily crossover, if given the chance. And NO, none of the tracks I've suggested would be "out of format".
And yet again, Josh, you attack on ME, not what the community feels but on what you perceive as what I want. But then, if all you want to do is attack me, then go ahead and enjoy it. If you knew the music, then you could see that I'm not suggesting anything radical here.
Yeah, my idea of the 2 - 3 dance adds to CHR may not be everyone's cup o' tea here. And I know in certain markets it will NEVER happen. Yet we're going to push and pursue, simple as that. And likewise, for NYC, when a shoe eventually falls, we'll seek out a new one. Not sooner.
