Sorry for overposting, but how does a healthy-wattaged class D translator manage to be placed on what looks to be either the same tower or a nearby tower about a field goal away from that of a second-adjacent class B station?

Isn't that a little close? Shouldn't the separation be something like 40 or 50 miles, not 40 or 50 feet?
