Z 100 billboards and their website are promoting the fact that they are commercial free every weekday for 100 minutes from 4:30-6:10 pm. In addition, they are giving away a daily $1,000 prize to listeners during that time period.
Is it likely that Z 100's listening lags during mid- afternoons, and they are trying to give it a boost? While several stations go commercial free for a while around 9 AM, it seems unusual to do this in the middle of afternoon drive.
