I agree somewhat Allan. I like Sean as a person, and as a broadcaster.
That being said, I think one of the things that has killed Hannity is that he can be so gosh darn petty. For example, he cites these miniscule things that Obama and the Democrats are doing now as if NO Republican has ever done the same exact things.
I remember when Obama threw out the first pitch at the All Star game this year- he played the audio from St. Louis stating- "Listen to all the boos..."
There were hardly any- in fact it was mostly all cheers. It makes him sound silly.
The other thing that drives me crazy is, you can tell sometimes when he has a listener on the line that he's not even listening to what they are saying- he's either shuffling through papers, or placing an order for Starbucks coffee (that's insider info) as the caller is talking.
I understand he's got alot of stuff going on at once but when he does something like that, he can come off as being very insincere.
I think the way he gives Al Sharpton so much credibility by putting him on his show all the time is a mistake.
Also, up until about 2006 he was always talking about what a "Proud Republican" he is...Michael Savage was actually the first on the Conservative end of the talk show hosts around 2004 to state he is not Republican, he is instead a Conservative. All of a sudden Sean now says the same thing.
I also think Hannity should've been the better person and come to Savage's defense when he was banned in Britain- instead of ignoring the story as if he doesn't exsist. But that's another discussion for another time.
Again these are just certain things that I think hurt him overall. I Like Sean, and I'm still a fan, but if he asked me my opinion on what I don't like about the show- these would be the first few things I'd cite.
