"I listened to Sean Hannity's local WABC show extensively in the late 1990s and I really liked the show. As Allan said, I think Hannity handled New York issues well and he provided good commentary and guests".
To add to that he also did not tow the party line and sounded like guy that had objectivity. You could see that objectivity slowly slip away as he was actively being courted and for some one that came from humble beginnings he easily became enamored with them. At one point remember him saying his wife was dining with Laura Bush. That finally explained it to me where the objectivity went with the show.
Now a days I try to tune in from time to time but it is a difficult listen with the endless female callers that just figured out politics one after another say "We Love You Sean". This endless love fest is what made Bob Grant's show less entertaining towards the end. I sometimes wonder if he has these callers to emulate Bob Grant's old show who I believe he was a fan of.
