Josh, that is a perfect comment and it directly tells why syndication, as it is today, doesn't work.
In the morning, I listen (if I listen) to Gambling on WOR. He and Joe have a nice rep. I don't agree on their politics, but I like the show in a general way (like I liked his father's show). It's a nice, local, full-service show, the kind I always advocate for morning and afternoon shows. Gambling has it pegged, mornings and afternoons with Malzberg; LOCAL.
WABC, I have to say, is unlistenable (not because of the signal but WOR's signal is better in NEPA anyway).
WABC sounds like a skipping record, if you tune it in, you know what you will get. But I do use it when I need to take a nap during the day; it puts me right to sleep. That, is no lie!
