I "mean to" commend him for doing compelling radio. It was a good listen. Interesting, controversial and engaging.
For whatever reason, Jay, you have appointed yourself the arbiter of what is "truth" and what is "decency". Most of your crticisms are consitently based on that theme.
Hey, I have no problem with you liking or disliking anyone based on *your* interpretation. It's no different than me doing likewise. Just keep in mind that your opinion is nothing more than that. But the standard to which you personally seem to want to hold talkradio to would turn it into a boring medium.
Anyone who takes any talk radio host too seriously does so at his own peril. These are not news shows. They're commentary. It's the sharp expression of *opinion* that makes them entertaining. They're not documentaries.
