I always enjoyed Jay, his creativity and his wicked sense of humor. I think Jay is, like many creative people, fiercely independent in his thinking and quick to bristle at authority especially when the "suits" can come across as, let's say, less than brainy. I'm sure this sort of confrontational attitude is less than acceptable to the kinds of folks who measure their worth by the title they hold.
