I totally agree with your post, Mike, and where you place the various hosts.
The issue is not about the respective views of these hosts; it's about how they present those views.
Jay has different views, and a lot of valid ones. But he presents his clearly different views in the exact same manner that a lot of the right-wing hotheads do; proselytizing, appearing fanatical, shrieking. For me, no matter who does it, that sort of presentation is a turn-off. I don't find it entertaining at all.
