Obviously, your employer never relocated from somewhere easy for most employees to reach to somewhere more difficult for most employees to reach. Been there, done that. It changes your entire daily schedule.
For a number of WFAN staffers, this means the difference between a drive to Astoria away from the various midtown- and lower-Manhattan crossings (which can be congested all day every day) to some having to rely on public transportation and unknown travel times. Obama or some other high-security dignitary wants to stop by Wall Street and lower Manhattan comes to a stop? Good luck.
More specifically to the crew of Mike's show... that means parking availability has to be such that Mike can get a spot in lower Manhattan at 12 noon. (Ever try that on your own?) Sal and Eddie said there's supposed to be an "arrangement" with a nearby garage. How many "arrangements" does this garage have, and does money talk when someone else wants to be "top dog" in parking priority?
