I would assume, and correct me if I'm wrong, that Mike can afford to make other arrangements like having a car with a driver taking him to and from work each day (if he is unable or unwilling to drive or take public transportation), or have something in his contract that stipulates a car with a driver to take him to and from work. Didn't Howard Stern have an arrangement like that when he worked at WXRK? And as far as the staffers, it's no big deal. They are more like "regular working Joes", and if they want to stay employed there, they suck it up and take a different subway line and/or leave earlier to get in. Been there, done that myself many times. Which means it's not unheard of in this world. It's happened in the past, and it will happen in the future, I'm sure.

Do you know what the funniest part of this whole thing is? The fact that 99% of New York City radio stations were located in Manhattan over the years, and it was rare to have a studio in Queens (WWRL and WTFM/WAPP were the exceptions). So, if WFAN was one of the 99%, it would have been in Manhattan all along.
