I was on the air today when I got the call that Jim had passed. Jim has helped me at times and as one of the top radio personalities of all time, he would always oblige you and treat you with repect. This all happened so fast. Radio has lost a legend (of two cities). Jim was so passionate about radio and the music. He was a perfectionist. He once co-hosted a special show for me and I asked him if he could put something together quickly. That was the worst thing that you could ask Jim to do. It was to be perfect or not done at all. He Emailed a thank you to me last Christmas because I played his recital of "Yes Virginia, There Is a Santa Claus". Always as thoughtful as any person I'd known. Rest in peace, Jim. You will never be forgotten. My condolences and prayers to Jim's family. A sad day in radio.
