Couldn't agree more. Amazingly, Sterling has managed to keep his job. As a person who pays attention to Baseball & Radio, Sterling & Waldman could be the worst booth in sports. Whereas, I have no issue with a woman in the booth, I feel that Waldman is such a "homer" she is embarrassing the both. Sterling is a huge "homer" as well. However, his poor play calling should be hilighted as well. Don't believe me? Put your Yankee game on with the sound off, turn on your radio and begin to count the Mistakes. It was a better booth with Charlie Steiner. Two other terrible booths... 1) Joe Buck Tim McCarver. 2) Jon Miller Joe Morgan. Plus, regarding the latter, the edition of Steve Phillips should've cost someone their job. The best booth in the game... IMHO, Vin Scully. Gary Thorne is also very good.
