true; but harry was a hall of famer with nearly 40 years with the phillies; this year, of the 8 playoff teams only the Dodgers (Vin Scully) and the Phillies (Tom McCarthy) have given their tv announcers an extra 3 innings doing radio...Scully...of course....McCarthy...why? and if you read Philly.com message boards you will find most Philly fans consider him a Mets fan! when TMac complained about having his innings cut for Gary Cohen, I see his point; Gary Cohen as great as he is is not Harry Kalas or Vin Scully, at least not yet, though one day he may be; but 6 of 8 teams this year do not move tv announcers on to radio just because TBS and FOX have exclusives in the playoffs
