I'm not so sure that "dead air" as we know it is such a big deal the way it was way back when. I'm also not so sure it isn't. I think if it's a chronic case of being unprepared, then, you know, that's not good and will manifest in other negative ways.But,for my money,sometimes the old ways of doing business like "hitting the post" and putting too much empahsis on jingle packages and bells and whistles production keeps us as an industry rooted in the past at the expense of the future.
It is surely and merely a subjective opinion, but I myself have found that too perfect is not necessarily compelling, and frankly...boring.
