Couple things...
First, it's interesting, looking a little further down the list, to see how some of the big AM signals are affected by the fortunes of the baseball teams whose play-by-play they carry. WCBS(AM) is a strong fourth, maybe bolstered by the strong first-place showing of the Yankees in the AL East. (That good start in the playoffs can't hurt either the Yanks or NewsRadio 880 in the fall numbers either..) Conversely the underperforming, walking-wounded Mets seem to have hurt WFAN with their early fall from contention. Carrying big league sports as a significant part of your schedule can be a double-edged sword.
Also, it's interesting to note how strong CBS-FM has become with 12+ and 25-54 listeners--probably as strong as it's been in 20 years. It's also reportedly still struggling to get back to the ad billing levels it enjoyed before the disastrous Jack experiment, even though its numbers are near historic highs. That may explain why they shook up the sales staff this week and promoted someone new to be the station's GSM...it'll be interesting to see if that energizes the sales efforts and help them grab a share of billing equal to their share of prime demo listeners.
