Technically the change is switching data feeds to the transmitter exciter. Maybe they moved exciters, but that is highly doubtful.
So, there was no re-adjusting of processing necessary to make this happen, they just select a different input on a router or move a couple cables. The WCAA processing was almost certainly already running and tweaked beforehand on another chain, or is simply the present processing moved to the new RF signal.
btw- These swaps are normally arranged by the engineers to be done deals, unless there is no spare gear available.. For example I did a studio building move a few years ago. Many were stressing about "if it would work", but the truth is the old location was backhauled to the new location a week before the switch. They were already on from the new building, the old location was coming up on a pot on the new control room board.
