WQXR 105.9 signal quality

I live in Bay Ridge and in the car this morning I had some fading ("whiffing") when I exited the Belt Parkway and proceeded to Bay Parkway. Of course at that location the Verrazano Bridge towers are not far. Overall signal quality is quite good here. I have a 1970s Technics analog tuner connected to my A/V system and the signal shows 3.3 out of 5.0 whereas the 96.3 signal is at full strength(of course). Other than that I cannot complain in this part of town.
