That will apparently be the new call for WCAA on 10/15 or shortly after that date, when the stunting ends at the Spanish station on 96.3 FM. That is according to the website. Northeast Radio Watch.
It has an interesting article about the WCAA/WQXR frequency swap. It speculates that WNYC could approach WAMC in Albany concerning their permit to build WWES 88.9 in Mount Kisco. The article states that if WNYC could acquire that frequency and build the station, northern Westchester could receive good coverage of WQXR.
The article also has interesting technical information about how the frequency swap was accomplished. There is a photo of WQXR's former studios at the New York Times. It remains unclear what will be done with that facility.
