I'm fairly sure doing so would be in violation of MLB's agreement with ESPN. The postseason rights ESPN purchased undoubtedly provide for land radio exclusivity, with the sole exception of the regular season radio networks of the contending teams.
Overflow games during the regular season do not bump up against postseason rights.
