Recently when Mark Melusis has done the overnights on WFAN it seems that a large number of callers have been complimenting him and expressing wishes that he would be the permanent overnight person. Personally, I like both as they are two very different personalities. I think that the lineup, as it is right now is perfect. Tony Paige is a very personable guy who adds some humor and light moments to the show. Tony also gives most callers a fair amount of time and treats them with respect, even if he disagrees with them. Melusis on the other hand is perfect on Monday mornings, particularly during football season. His rundown of the games with the sound bites are great. Melusis adds little or no humor to his broadcasts, but his knowledge of all the major sports is phenominal. So, as I said, I would leave the overnight balance as it is and get the best of both worlds. WFAN is loaded with talent. I would like to hear more of Laurie Rubinson and Adam the Bull if possible.
BTW - Don't get me wrong, Tony Paige does get his share of compliments but there seems to be an emphasis on "we want more of Melusis".
