The answer to that problem is TiVo. :) Just delay your telecast until it matches the radiocast.

I've been doing that with TBS's coverage of the MLB postseason ever since the ESPN Radio broadcasts became available on FM here in Philly last Friday.

I'd much rather listen to Gary Thorne than whomever TBS had doing the Phillies-Rockies series, and I'd much rather listen to Jon Miller and (even) Steve Phillips than Chip Carray.

If I had a more portable radio, I'd stick the radio in front of the center channel speaker of my home theater, unplug the center channel speaker (to eliminate the commentary from the TV coverage), and use the radio for commentary and the other four speakers for ambient crowd noise. (That's assuming the TV providers mix the audio correctly and don't have commentary coming out of the left and right).
