Probable winner? Anyone know who has the deepest pockets?

The answer as to who will ultimately build the station? Whoever comes up with enough cash to buy the CP. Whoever that is, will probably build a news/talker based in New City with a local morning show, a couple full time news people, a weekend part-time newscaster, maybe a local afternoon show, and a whole lot of syndicated stuff filling out the rest of the day. Given what happened recently with the north Jersey station on 1660, which now has a 10 kW DA-N signal, they could build it out with a 10 kW ND signal by day, and a two or three tower mildly directional 10 kW nighttime signal with the strongest lobe pointed south-southeast through the city of license toward the Bronx. Could catch Rockland and a lot of Westchester plus the Bronz and upper Manhattan.
