Hall Oates...on a country station?

Hi all,

Been a while since I posted, I have been busy getting to know my family again after returning home from two years in Iraq. (Bad radio there BTW :-) )

So my wife is listening to a country station here (I live in central Maryland now) and "Sara Smile" came on...how is that a country song? I never thought of Hall & Oates as country, they were always "blue eyed soul" I thought.

I get playing the Kid Rock song "All Summer Long" - but then why not also play Lynyrd Skynyrd while they are at it? Or .38 Special?

Interested to hear your thoughts.
