WJRZ 97 also used a Top 40 approach to C&W, which may explain the crossover adds. Lotsa jingles..... An actual Top hundred with a hundred songs on it...... Good jocks ..... And -- hmmm -- evidently no 'signal problems' for some reason ......

Craig: Did WHN play any Poco, Loggins & Messina, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Burrito Brothers, Jackson Browne, et al? Those folks were quite big on AoR playlists, along with PPL. I understand that they wanted as little association as possible with a label like 'cowboy records'. But perhaps PPL didn't pass WHN muster, as being sort of a one-hit act?
