Perhaps to put behind the image of the weaker signal that WCAA had. Weak reception apparently had a lot to do with them consistently getting much lower ratings than SBS stations WSKQ and WPAT FM. The perception that this a new and improved product could be helpful. They are running frequent over the top announcements stating that they have the most powerful signal.
As the station is apparently currently running jockless after the morning show with Luis Jimenez, they may eventually hire different on air personalities than the ones that were on La Kalle.
