When I was a kid, I used to watch Soupy Sales all the time. In fact, so did my father. Soupy appealed to everybody. To his dying day, my father always used to think about the one episode where Soupy got into a pie fight with an elderly lady. The two threw pies back and forth until finally, Soupy got a tray full of pies, held it under the lady, and kicked her cane out from underneath her. My father laughed at that one for years.
God bless you, Soupy. You brought joy and happiness to countless numbers. RIP. You are already missed.
