Allan was right - radio did not fit Soupy's main skill sets.
That being said, the interactions between Stern and Sales certainly made for compelling radio back in the NBC days (e.g. the piano wire incident).
Several times in the past few years Stern has expressed his regret for the way he treated Soupy.
