I happened to put the Imus show on just before they discussed Soupy (as I was also curious about his reaction). He did not have anything really meaningful to say. Charles McCord and the others in the studio told Imus he treated Soupy poorly in the past. Imus denied that several times, without backing up his denial, and said he met the comedian in the recent past at some sort of event. To me, he seemed a bit embarrassed, and I had the impression that he changed the subject as soon as he could.
