I grew up listening to New York Radio WNBC,WYNY,WABC,99X...moved to Florida in 1980 and in late '85 or early '86 I guess it was when I was probably 24 or 25 years old I flew into Laguardia,hopped in the Rental Car and I turned on WNBC...I enjoyed every minute of Soupy,(as I did Imus)...I never really did enjoy Howard until I was well into my 30's and began to appreciate Howards style...at that time Howard would have been a tune out factor for me...even though I was in that DEMO.Howard may have been gone by this time because I recall listening to Alan later in the day...but I did want to give you a thumbs up...you did have a 24 year old out there enjoying Soupy on WNBC even though I was only visiting at the time.I seem to recall a Joke about a Bank Teller and why I should avoid going to her window.
