The jazz station, on 88.3 FM currently transmits from Newark, NJ. They had previously asked for F.C.C. permission to shift their transmitter to a building near the United Nations.
According to the website Northeast Radio Watch, the noncommercial station has amended their request to transmit from a building on Times Square, at a height of 834 feet, with 2,800 watts. The proposed signal would provide similar 60dBu coverage which would be similar to the previously requested location- all of New York City, part of Northeast NJ, but little else. I believe WBGO's studios would remain in Newark.
