Dan did voice-overs for a myriad of commercial products. But I have the feeling WABC Program Director Rick Sklar made sure Dan's contract prohibited him from doing "Stop Nixon Express" political spots. Or Dan might know on his own this wouldn't be good for his career.
And for those who say few people listen to both WPLJ and WABC, I'm not sure that's right. I talk to plenty of non-radio people in their 30s and 40s who are starting to include AM news and talk radio in their listening while tuning in primarily to FM music stations.
